Proper Hygiene: Smart Bath Tips

Spending time under the shower, you should look for ways to save time and efforts so that you can look better in less time.

Softer skin and better hair is our aim with this post. Read it carefully and let us know your views in the comments section below.

Soap

If you think that soap is one of the most important items one should use while bathing, then you are wrong. Soap does not help you when you shower. Instead, it strips your skin of essential oils, making it dry, itchy and tight. So, skip soaps.

An alternative to soap is a soap-free body wash. Most of the soap-free body washes help in cleansing your body without making it dry.

If you are planning to buy it, buy it online to get an exclusive deal on the same. Also, you can use coupons to get an additional discount on these items. Coupons are available for popular stores like Overstock and Sears.

Hot water

Do you think that hot water is good for you? Well, it may be shocking, but hot water is one that adds to the dryness by exacerbating the effect. So, one should avoid it.

However, if you are used to it and do not want to part away from the feeling in a moment, you should go slowly. Start reducing the proportion of hot water and get used to cold water.

Shampoo

Are you focusing on the roots, scalp and the nape of the neck? Or you love putting the bulk on your hair’s general length? Shampoo is important but if you are putting it all on the general length, you are basically wasting it all. So, avoid it and focus on the roots, scalp and the nape of the neck because oils and dirt are usually collected at these spots.

Again, you should know the quantity of shampoo that you put on your general length, roots, and scalp. Using too much of shampoo is bad and should be avoided.

Shave

It is often seen that people shave before shower. This is not really bad, but if you are trying to get a close shave, it is better to shave at the end of your shower. Doing so, you will notice that the hair has softened, and removal of the same is easy.

Note: It is important to open up your pores. For this, shower in warm water because it helps in swelling your follicles. Here, we insist using warm water, not hot water.

Shower session

We love having long, peaceful bathing session, and we don’t want anyone to disturb us, right? But if I tell you that you should keep your shower session short, maybe ten minutes on the higher side, would you do it?

Whatever may be your decision, it is important to know that it is not good to have a long shower session because it increases the odds of stripping your skin of essential oils. This can even result in itchy patches of skin.

Beauty Routine Tips: Proper Ways of Exfoliating your Skin

some women exfoliate their faces but forget about other body parts. As the weather heats up is also beginning to damage our skin, you should exfoliate all over. Exfoliation is also important before applying tanning products or when rejuvenating skin.below tips are proper ways of body Exfoliating.

-Exfoliating Supplies-

Instructions:
1.Before stepping into the shower, brush your dry skin with your loofah, body brush or exfoliating gloves. This will help remove the loose skin and prepare your skin for the exfoliating process. Begin with the soles of your feet, working your way up your body.

2. Get into the shower and wet your body from head to toe. Don't exfoliate your skin if you are sunburned or have any open cuts or wounds.

3. Use a pumice stone on your feet to eliminate rough spots and calluses. If your feet are extremely rough, soak them in a basin of warm water mixed with a cup of milk for 30 minutes before getting into the shower.

4. Apply your exfoliating cleanser to your loofah or gloves. Begin scrubbing your body in a circular motion starting with the bottoms of your feet and working your way up. When you reach the bikini area, don't scrub too hard because the skin is very sensitive.

5. Use a body brush to exfoliate your back and other hard-to-reach places.

6. Be gentle on your face, particularly around your eyes and mouth. Use an exfoliating product especially formulated for the face, which is gentler than products designed to be used on the body.

7. Don't forget about your hands. You want them to look and feel soft and smooth too!

8. Rinse your body with lukewarm water, and follow with the coldest water you can stand. Apply a shower gel to soften your skin, if you'd like.

9. After stepping out of the shower, apply a moisturizing body lotion all over. Body lotions and facial moisturizers containing alpha or beta hydroxy acids are ideal choices because these acids continue to remove dead skin cells.

10. Use body moisturizer lotion once a day. Exfoliation is drying to the skin, so you must keep your skin hydrated.

Select exfoliating cleansers that contain sea salt, sugar, ground almonds, walnuts, seeds or other grainy components.
Exfoliating once or twice a week is usually enough to achieve silky skin; however, women with oily skin should exfoliate more often than those with dry skin. If your skin becomes excessively dry or irritated after exfoliation, don't scrub so hard. Cut back on how often you exfoliate, and explore the possibility that you may be allergic to the products you used.

-Packaging-

The product is housed in a dainty box printed in a glossy and matte finish (Wonder how much the company spent on the box alone,). Everything's written in Japanese so I sugguest checking out Meiko Cosmetics' website for the ingredient information. Overall, I like how this is branded, it's simple and no-fuss.

The actual product is contained in a plain white circular container, and is open or sealed through twisting the cap. The packaging's material is made of hard plastic. The product's name and a simple linear detail is printed around the product's cap. The shade's name and information can be found at the bottom of the product. I think the container is sturdy and won't break if ever you would accidentally drop this. I'm just worried about the label fading over the long run, and I get very irritated over superficial reasons like that.
